So, before you go and buy all the makeup and eye skin care products the world has to offer for eye wrinkles, puffy eyes and dark circles, they will be useless and your money wasted if you dont take the proper precautions for maintaining your skin&#8217;s health first. Building your own skin care regimen and sticking to it daily is crucial, so here are the top 10 eye skin care tips dermatologists recommend you start getting used to: </p>
<p>1. Know Your Skin Type. In order to make the right decision on your eye skin care products, you must first identify your skin type. Skin care products are available in various types, depending on the needs of your skin. Having a firm grasp on what your skin needs to be healthy and look good, will help you find a product that will produce maximum results in that area. </p>
<p>2. Drink A Lot of Water. Drink the required 8-10 glasses of water daily. It will not only keep your skin hydrated, but help prevent the accumulation of bacteria, helping you avoid further skin problems like acne. </p>
<p>3. Wash Your Face With Lukewarm Water At Night And Cold Water In the Morning. At the end of the day you most likely have been exposed to harsh environmental factors and your face needs to be cleansed and rid of those factors, so youll need to cleanse with warm water before bed. Using hot water can make your skin exceedingly dry. When you wake up in the morning, use cool-cold water to reduce under eye puffiness and close up your pores before makeup application. The cold water will help close your pores so that your makeup does not clog those pores.  </p>
<p>4. Exfoliate Often. When exfoliating, try not to exert too much pressure when scrubbing. Exfoliating is certainly good for your skin, but do not do it too often as you might end up harming the outermost layers of your skin.
