This is true. Before we go out there and spend our money on expensive creams or make-up to help with the wrinkles, we must follow a skin care regimen. That’s a good way to help the skin, and a good way to prevent some wrinkles.

By looking at the number of eye skin care products available today, there is no doubt that our society puts a high value on the beauty of our eyes. They are, after all, the most looked at feature and the one that shows the signs of aging first. Wouldn’t you agree? So, before you go and buy all the makeup and eye skin care products the world has to offer for eye wrinkles, puffy eyes and dark circles, they will be useless and your money wasted if you dont take the proper precautions for maintaining your skin’s health first. Building your own skin care regimen and sticking to it daily is crucial, so here are the top 10 eye skin care tips dermatologists recommend you start getting used to:

1. Know Your Skin Type. In order to make the right decision on your eye skin care products, you must first identify your skin type. Skin care products are available in various types, depending on the needs of your skin. Having a firm grasp on what your skin needs to be healthy and look good, will help you find a product that will produce maximum results in that area.

2. Drink A Lot of Water. Drink the required 8-10 glasses of water daily. It will not only keep your skin hydrated, but help prevent the accumulation of bacteria, helping you avoid further skin problems like acne.

3. Wash Your Face With Lukewarm Water At Night And Cold Water In the Morning. At the end of the day you most likely have been exposed to harsh environmental factors and your face needs to be cleansed and rid of those factors, so youll need to cleanse with warm water before bed. Using hot water can make your skin exceedingly dry. When you wake up in the morning, use cool-cold water to reduce under eye puffiness and close up your pores before makeup application. The cold water will help close your pores so that your makeup does not clog those pores.

4. Exfoliate Often. When exfoliating, try not to exert too much pressure when scrubbing. Exfoliating is certainly good for your skin, but do not do it too often as you might end up harming the outermost layers of your skin. Twice a week is sufficient for getting rid of the skin’s top, dead layer of skin cells.

5. Moisturize daily. Moisturizing is an essential part of your daily eye skin care regimen. By giving an extra dose of moisture to your skin that may be lacking, you are ensuring a brighter, more even skin tone. Always put your moisturizer on right after washing your face as the skin is most permeable at this time and the most amount of moisturizer will be absorbed.

6. Skip the bar soap for your face. Bar soap will strip your skin of its natural moisture. No amount of moisturizer can replace the oils stripped by bar soap. So just keep your bar soap for the body if you have to use it.

7. Avoid the Sun. We all need a little sun exposure to be happy, but when expecting to get sun exposure at length, apply sunscreen lotion or better yet, use a facial moisturizer with an SPF of at least 15. Make a habit of using sunscreen every time you go outdoors, even when it’s cloudy. The easiest way to not forget SPF? Make sure it is in all your makeup products.

8. Exercise daily. Some sweat on your face can be just what the doctor ordered. When you perspirate, your skin retains moisture and will, in turn, be brighter because the excess dirt and oils are removed from everything it has taken in during the day. Just make sure you wash your face thoroughly afterwards!

9. The secret truly lies in antioxidants. By adding antioxidants into your diet daily you are working to actually reverse – not only prevent – the signs of aging. Antioxidants can reverse free radical damage and this free radical damage is the number one reason we start to see the signs of aging. A good food to keep in mind for getting your antioxidants are berries – blue, black, red – the darker the better.

10. Positively deal with stress. Studies show how harmful stress is on our bodies and it is a major factor in aging. By learning to cope well with stress, we can reduce the signs of aging, improving the health of our skin and overall health. It’s one of the best things you can do for yourself. A good way to start is by trying not to sweat the small stuff.

Add these tips to your daily skin care routine and will help your skin to look as beautiful as possible. Don’t rely just on eye creams and tons of products. Help yourself by applying these easy and virtually free tips to your regimen daily, and if your results aren’t exactly as you’d like then you can use an eye skin care cream to compliment. I guarantee you will feel good knowing you’ve done everything possible to maintain healthy, ageless skin.

Immediate weight loss, weight gain, or pregnancy are the main causes of unpleasant stretch marks on the body. Stretch marks can be in different forms and colors, mainly like thin lines on the outer layer of the skin. These marks are pleasant to look at and are often frustrating. Both genders face the problem of stretch marks. Hence, learning how to get rid of stretch marks is a subject that people are always searching out more information on.

One form of stretch marks treatment is cosmetic surgery, or laser treatment. It can assist in bringing back the elasticity of the skin and can also change the discoloration of the skin. But though these types of treatments are effective and often show permanent results, they are very costly and cannot be affordable by all classes of people. An alternative option to this can be different types of stretch mark products recommended by most doctors and skin specialists.

There are many creams and lotions available on the market that help to remove stretch marks. Such products are generally made of Vitamin E and cocoa butter, and have to be regularly applied on the affected areas. When you apply the creams or lotions, they penetrate deep into the skin and start healing the affected part. However these products work best if they are used in the initial stages of the problem. Oil massage before the shower can be very effective. Usually the basic ingredient in the oil is the Vitamin E which is considered to be the best for the skin problems. During the shower, brushing the skin with a loofah can stimulate circulation.

There are a few natural methods that can also help you eradicate the stretch marks from your skin. If you want to naturally reduce the stretch marks the best thing that you can follow is a good diet that contains meals rich in vitamin A, C, E, and D. These foods should not only contain vitamins but also the required amount of zinc, proteins and fatty acids. Your diet should include food stuff like fresh fruit, brown rice, vegetables, soybean, whole grains, etc. Drinking a lot of water is also advisable. Following a proper diet makes your skin soft, elastic and smooth. While you are on your mission to reduce stretch marks, you should not be consuming some products like alcohol, coffee and soda. These only make the problem harder to correct.

Prevention is better, and easier than curing. Therefore the best option is to avoid the factors that can cause stretch marks. Vigorous exercise and excessive work can add extra pressure on the skin and create stretch marks on the body. Weight gain and weight loss are also considered to be factors causing stretch marks and therefore you should eat healthy food and perform moderate exercise so that your body remains fit and fine.

Wrinkle creams of every kind are widely available and make for a very good investment to a woman. There are literally hundreds of creams available, with some of them being specific to certain face areas. You can find creams for the eyes that can reduce the appearance of crows feet, as well as many, many other types of creams. You can buy these products at any store, or you could choose a more expensive brand, which very often is not really better.

A typical cream usually usually will have at least dozens of active ingredients in it that have been scientifically proven to be effective for various reasons. Retinol, which is an antioxidant, basically neutralizes free radicals, which stops them from creating wrinkles by breaking down old skin cells. Exfoliants are another ingredient; they can remove a layer or two of dead skin and expose new and healthier skin; this makes your skin look better right away. There is also copper peptides, which help stimulate the production of collagen, so that your skin will look more firm.

Green tea extracts are a very common ingredient found in wrinkle creams due to their antioxidant qualities. Coenzyme Q10 is a ingredient used in some types creams and lotions, particularly eye creams. Coenzyme Q10 is a nutrient that helps regulate the energy production in skin cells.

These creams usually require you to use them at least once, sometimes twice a day. They will help with the appearance of fine lines, and help your skin look more firm. It is important to remember to use them everyday. If you stop using them, you will stop getting the benefits they provide.

Not all ingredients in anti wrinkle creams are proven effective, and not all of these creams deliver the promise on the package, so it is important to do your homework before shopping for an anti wrinkle cream. However, many of these creams do work, as long as they are used on a daily basis, and can definitely improve the look and condition of your skin, making you feel a lot better.

These creams also help the skin by moisturizing. Almost all of them also contain some level of protection from the suns harmful rays. Using them everyday if only just for these qualities can help prevent further damage to your skin. It is best to start using spf when you are young in order to make sure your skin doesnt prematurely age and develop fine lines from sun damage.

It is also important to know that whether you use a cream or not, a healthy active lifestyle can make you look years younger then a person who does not live that way. Drinking lots of water, not smoking at all, getting a lot of sleep and eating well all have very visible effects on your skin. There is also a negative impact on your skin if you live a very stressful lifestyle.

In conclusion, using wrinkle creams daily can make your skin look younger. It will reduce the appearance of fine lines, and skin will look more firm. Make sure it has spf to protect yourself from the sun. Follow a healthy lifestyle, and limit stress in your everyday life, and dont smoke, and your skin will look youthful for a long time.
